Finemore Walters & Story recently completed a significant new office fit-out at the historic Queens Theatre building at 31 Woongarra Street. This renovation included the fit-out of reception and meeting rooms on a ground level and the integration of these facilities with a full office, board rooms and kitchen facilities on the upper floor. Throughout this process, we found liaising with the team including interior design and on-site project management specialists, extremely satisfying. The team at Murchies were able to take our concepts as to fit-out and make them a reality.

The project involved completing the physical fit-out on a narrow time frame. Despite this, the onsite co-ordination and communication with us was first class. When matters arose, they were brought to our attention in a timely fashion and practical solutions proposed.

Ultimately, our project was completed on time and to a very high level of finish. We were accordingly, then able to co-ordinate our move into the new premises as planned and were open for business without disruption to our clients.

Over a few phone calls Andrew developed a concept plan for the fitout and organised for preliminary plans to be drawn showing the design and office layout. Using these plans Andrew also prepared a budget for the work.

Jenny and our project manager collaborated together to modify the layout of the office and documentation specifying the joinery specifications.

With the completion of the office, Jenny was thrilled with the final result.
